Rhydian is an Arabian Stockhorse gelding. By the Crabbet/Colonial stallion, Tarquin (Iran ex Habzar) from the Australian Stock Horse mare, Stonington Ann, Rhydian was bred to be a working stock horse.
Rhydian is broken to saddle and kept as a pleasure/stock horse who occassionally gives pony rides. At 15.2hh he is somewhat a large pony, but he does not mind and is extremely careful of any small passengers.
Rhydian is also known for his liking of all things related to power tools, particularly drills. He has provided many hilarious moments in his attempts to help Glen fix things around the paddock. One day we really will buy him his very own tool belt!
